Driving licence renewal,

Do they have this service at the Ministry Dept off the Messogi road? or do you have to use the Citizens advice centre, thank you

We find the CAB at the Post Office is very quick & easy.

Jim, if it is a renewal of a Cypriot driving licence, you can use the Citizens Document Centres. However, for exchanging a UK licence (or any other non-Cypriot licence), you have to go to the Dept of Road Transport in the Mesoghi industrial centre.

I am not new to getting a new licence, in fact I got our Cypriot licence 18 years ago, what I was asking is do they do this service at the MOTransport on the Messogi industrial estate ? I do know they do it as posted at the Citizens advice centre, but the MOT centre is just down the road, I was told they do this just wondering if any members have done so?

When I renewed my Cypriot licence at the Citizens help desk at the main Post Office, they used my old photo from 3 years previously. I was rather hoping to get a new photo, but on the bright side when I'm 94 they may still be using my photo from when I was 73!

Same for my wife at the same place

I would not say the citizens centre at the post office was quick , we waited an hour today for my wife’s . They did not take a photo.

50 Euro for an eye test at an opticians , will shop around next year . Gesy Doctor signed the form .

Was given a temporary licence and told to come back in 2 weeks time.

It was my Gesy doctor who told me I needed to go to an optician .

He or she was being particular. I too have never had a separate eye test.. But have had 3 'medicals'
