Having just faced the ordeal at the Pafos Transport Dept yesterday, I will now have a Cyprus licence. This was following the advice given by the BHC. Does anyone know what the position will be post Brexit,
a) for holidaymakers from the UK, and
b) for Ex-pats now with Cypriot licences, who visit and wish to drive in the UK & NI?

Will an international licence be required?

For UK residents holidaying in CY, they will need a 1949 (?) International Driving Permit available from a UK post office.

Just in case of a no deal Brexit, we have just got our International Driving Permit 1949 from the main Post Office. It looks like a ration book.
