Paphos Life

I went to my local chemist yesterday around 4pm and it was closed, there was a sign saying 'open Monday 7th October' I drove to another and that was shuttered also.
As it wasn't a bank holiday I thought it strange, does anyone have any idea why?

Pharmacists always close on a Saturday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon. There is always an Emergency Pharmacy in Paphos over w/e - advertised in Paphos Mail, Cyprus Post or phone 90901416 if an Emergency.
