How will Britain recover politically after Brexit?

This isn't about Brexit, more the aftermath. No matter what eventually transpires, there are huge fissures running through both the Tories and Labour. Yet what will be needed going forward is a firm and decisive hand. Where is that going to come from?

A good question. I can't see the UK recovering from this for a very long time. Divisions are running too deep. I don't see Scotland voting for independence any time soon though. Labour are in a mess and the Tories aren't much better. Will BoJo make a good job of it? Too early to tell I think. With Brexit hanging around his neck he hasn't had a chance to do much else. Time will tell.

I think this will be the end of the two big political parties in the UK.

But what will replace them? You have the libdems, but I can't see Farage's party surviving long after Brexit.

I can see maybe some big Tory hitter forming a new right wing party, taking Brexit voters with him, I think the Conservatives and Labour partys will never be the same after brexit.

Despite all the forecasts that the LibDems will do well at a General Election, as the only party that will clearly cancel Art. 50, I cannot see anyone who voted Brexit voting for them. Despite what they say in respect of democracy they are the only party that will deny that very thing.
I agree about the brexit party, a one trick pony!

It may take the Brexit Party to achieve Brexit if Boris fails to deliver. They did too well at the European elections to be ignored.

That's not the question though. The question is, what happens after?

I think putting the future of the entire UK in the hands of the Paphos Life forum is a very bad idea.
