There is an article in The Telegraph regarding CGT changes for Landlords many of whom are expats but it led me to this recent article and although it is abot Buy to Let Landlords I would assume that anyone with a property in the UK that is being Let Out would be in the same category.

IT advances HMRC appear to be immense.

We pay tax over here on our UK property rental and have done since we came here, with HRMC permission.

Always assuming that you declare that you rent your property! I did, both here and in the UK - but I would say an awful lot of people don't!! If they are caught I have no sympathy.
