Spoke to my supplier on Saturday and was told it would all be sorted by Wednesday as the company is changing servers.

That is good news

Looks like panic over then, and the Police clampdown seems to have abated. Probably a one-week purge like they do with road traffic offences.
All back to normal - but I don't think I will be taking out one of these dodgy subscriptions; don't really need UK TV.

There will always be people selling Dodgy Subscriptions...what might be a game changer is if the courts start .. dishing jail sentences out, that might limit the the amount of people willing to sell dodgy subscriptions here>

How are Cypriot courts going to stop providers from all over the world, answer they are not, simples.

CL hello...I have been told if you are using the system I think you are using it should be back on very soon, in fact, the FM Radio section is on.

WHL, I read the postings, but I am not like you always looking for an argument.

Trev it is as I posted, your system should be back online very soon, you will have FM radio, you can see they are moving servers I believe.

I do not use your supplier but I have one of my three off line, it says the same as yours, fingers crossed it will be back on soon.

My supplier has now come back online.... Not every channel is there... but most seem to be.

Menus are a little slower from main TV screen, but once in there, channels display quickly.

catchup not yet working

Films not yet working

So, progress and looks like it's on its way back...

I had thought, since multiple providers were down at the same time, that recovery would be the same timeframe, but obviously not....

I haven't compared my provider with SOS or others, since the earlier NtV days..... so don't know if content is the same - or they all provide their own content from similar sources....

Think you have point Hudswell, this could be the thin end of a large wedge.

I have been amazed how complacent many posters have been;

IPTV will be back on soon
Don't worry
This cannot be stopped
Etc etc.

Well, most of us have had no TV for several days, after just 3 arrests.
What will happen after 100 arrests?

If it is as easy as most think to change servers, then potentially it is as easy to locate and close them down.

I'm going legal, now.

The question is why do people buy a box locked to one provider?

If you buy your own box, MAG or Android and have the ability to simply change the source/provider at will - and it is easy to do. Pay monthly, if you have to pay at all, and if a provider gets blocked etc, simply use google for a new provider and follow the instructions - up and running within the hour, worst case you lose 1 months subs!

I cannot understand why someone would pay top euro for a set top box that they cannot control.

I have 3 providers portals on my mag box (I have space for 8 on a mag 322/254), if one stops, I just go to settings and reload portal and select another (although all 3 are working ok). Ok I have more than one because I monitor customers TV streams to check the internet.

There are a number of agents who can offer more then one provider - so can switch you to another service if one goes down.

Our previous provider says that he is expecting to be back with ftv channels to start in 1-2 days and I know of other providers coming back in the next day or two as well. And there are other providers working now (as previous posts). Plus NTV is there as a further option.

If Cyta Vision floats your boat, go with it...but it's definitely not for us :)
My post may have been a bit tongue and cheek, but consider this...

I just looked at your website HIC, I like it and will pirate it to use for a new business I am considering.

Surely you will notice this and do all you can to stop me.

What's the difference?

In addition, a combination of Netflix, Cytavision an subscribing to film on , will give me all I need, for just a little more than pirating.
