Just had a huge clap of thunder, almost deafening but still bathed in sunshine.

We've had two huge storms now Trev! Our pool is 2 inches fuller than it was this morning.

Max (our dog) and I have been for a siesta. But my wife tells me we had rain for about 3 minutes.
She is out walking the dog in the sunshine and I will give the pot plants a little water..

No bad weather in my area.

No rain or thunder etc etc

This was what followed me to my side of Polemi earlier. It came back again later too.
 

0.2 mm = bugger-all, this afternoon. On the road, it dried within minutes!

Nothing in Tremithousa except quite a bit of thunder on and off. Never ceases to amaze me how localised the weather is in Cyprus!

Dry rain in Konia, could hear the thunder here!

Well my corn is now doing very well.

Lucky all those of you who had rain even lots of it today! We didn’t have any in the Kamares/Kili area. Though there were some rumbles of thunder over the nearby hills.

That was at 11:30 - at 13:30, we have had all of 1 mm We need 20 times as much

Like smudger , we have nothing in our part of Tremithousa, yet Jim is not that far from us.

Went to Larnaca. When I left, it had been raining and was still drizzling. First village, Psevdas, the road and weather was dry as a bone. Second village, Ayia Anna, it was a downpour. Third village, Kalo Chorio, was dry as a bone. On the road from there to Aradippou, I hit a short downpour. On the road from the end of the motorway into Larnaca, beautiful sunshine. All in ~15 km!

We did the tourist bit today as we have visitors and went to Pano Lefkari and then Kato Lefkkari. Arrived at 1pm, after having a coffee at the McDonalds near Alpha Mega, just off the motorway, where there was no sign of rain. 11km later, parked car in Pano Lefkari and thunder all around us, but no rain. Walked round, had lunch around 2:30pm and the heavens opened for around 30 minutes. Then brilliant sunshine and no more rain.

I bet members are getting wet now in Trimithousa, it is hammering it down..Thunder all around too. 1.pm

Just had our first thunderstorm and accompanying heavy rain shower here in Zelemenos/Kili. Very welcome too! But more rain welcome....

Not sure what you mean misses Darrow? not posted on this since the 8th May, now it's damp.
