A bit sad really, we have been pigging out on fruits ,including strawberries , since we came ....my wife has fallen in love with the loquat.....seems to grow everywhere....appears to have some excellent health benefits ....sans pesticides of course !

Well however they were grown, the strawberries which I bought yesterday at Lidl’s, Polis Rd
Were both really fresh and taste delicious! I do like English Strawberries and Scottish grown Raspberries. Luckily when I go back to UK in July/August its the middle of the soft fruits season! So best of both worlds, me thinks!
