Thanks for that link.
I wonder who the officials are? Gay ones I suppose.
The 10% give or take I think is more accurate, still a lot higher % than London or New York.
Amos.

I'd still like to know which City josef k is referring to when he claims it was 25% gay? I don't believe such a city exists, even the city in the UK with the largest gay population (London) only has about 2-3%.
The City in question is the City of Brighton & Hove. 10% of the population state themselves to be gay in surveys. Given that many more people would prefer to keep their sexuality private, for reasons we are probably all aware of, then I suggest 25% isn't going to be far off the mark.
I can recommend a good hotel Paulo.

Oh dear WHL.

Never mind, read the government report the article was quoting from then.

It depends which figures you believe
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/re ... istics-say
'Gay capital?
The percentage of Britons saying they're gay, lesbian or bisexual is far higher in London than anywhere else in the UK - 2.5% compared to just 1.1% in Northern Ireland and 1% in the East of England.'

This is a forum about Paphos. Other people are more than welcome, but the general gist of the news section is Paphos and Cyprus related stories.
This is about the only news article with a gay theme that has been posted in the whole year that the site has been running, yet you seem to act as if "gayness" is being rammed down your throat.*
Now, if you happen to be sick of Graham Bloody Norton on UK TV, why not complain to the BBC about it?
Besides, it is obvious that the powers-that-be certainly could care less, otherwise the play wouldn't have been banned. I mean, let's face it, how many people are going to rush out and see a play called "Cock" anyway?
