Just joined, been lurking in CL for a while.

Semi retired, 4 months Paphos/8 months UK.

Hi, I'm a blast from the past. Used to contribute regularly to CL then circumstances changed. I would like to thank Jim for all his efforts in CL really appreciated. Thanks towhoever it is that has set this forum up.
I may not post that much as I no longer intend to live in Paphos but my daughter lived there for years and we have many great memories.
I can enjoy the forum without posting though. I would like to send my best wishes for the N ew Year to all members especially the posters that I locked horns with on CL.

Yes that would be a very useful feature. I will look into it.

Was it btinternet.com or btconnect.com?

The problem was with btinternet.com addresses. It should now be fixed though.

If you click on "Quck links" at the top of the page, it is one of those.

Well done setting up this new forum very quickly. It is great to be able to have a successor to CL and to be able to post again. I wish this new forum every success and hope that it will be much the same as CL was. Also that it will be lively with lots of useful and informative postings,

Hello Admin, thank you very much for setting this up. Very grateful, as I enjoyed the Cyprus living forum, and received some very useful hints and tips, before and since we lived here.

Congratulations on the new site. Well done. I am sure it will go from strength to strength.

Very easy registering & I'm so glad that we've got another site going as it would have been a shame to lose touch with everyone who has contributed so much useful information over the years. Only problem I have is I can't get my avatar added.I tried to copy & paste but it won't work.

I would like to add my thanks for setting this up so quickly. It really would not have been the same sat at work in the UK without my daily fix of Cyprus

Hi Dominic, thanks for your help activating my account. Even though I have now moved back to the UK with my family it's still good to keep in touch and see what's going on. It's good to see that our ex customers are still enjoying themselves and occasionally bump into them when we pop over. We still have a property in Paphos so visit now and then. Please say hi to your dad from myself & Stan.

I hope that was the one because I set it as her avatar now. The original image was slightly too big. The forum has a maximum size of 90 pixels. That was something like 92.
