Yes it was the first time I had seen "The Snowman" but I did know "Walking in the Air". The 2nd film may have been darker but I thought it was excellent and beautifully portrayed. Pink Floyd was more my daughter's time although I was obliged to hear the sound emanating from her bedroom full blast usually so I became a fan also and Folded Flags was as you say one of Roger Waters best so thank you for the links.

So sorry to hear about Izzy and hope the children are not too distraught. Am having a nasty time presently re my cat Skippy who has been diagnosed with cancer in her right front paw which is double trouble for her since she has a natural short back paw that side so amputation of the front is out of the question. Been to the Vets again this am and he is considering advising surgery on the paw itself to remove the growth but as she seems pain free at the moment we are taking it slowly. I dont wish to lose her but neither do I wish her to be in pain - I know whatever this is going to end in many tears.
