You're correct., EU Citizens resident in Cyprus were given the vote in both local and EU elections.

So brits are back to pre 2004 voting right in Cyprus, which is the equivalent of 3 elections, that said, I wonder how many brits who brought their property after 2004, and took residency purely on basis of being able to vote in the local elections

"If you don't allow me to vote, I don't want to live here?" So these people have no problems with their finances in any country; have always voted religiously wherever they have resided; don't come for the sun or the proximity of the sea or mountains; don't take any notice of the traditional generosity of the Cypriot people – they come only here so that they can vote. Please!
