Thanks Jimgym…. You beat me to it WHL. Is there a place for the certificate as I can’t find it or is it just an information app?

I haven't looked at it in detail. It popped up on Facebook and I thought I'd share it here then look in detail later.

Saw this link on FB to Green Pass App which I have successfully uploaded onto Samsung mobile phone - easy to install.

'This is not a government app, but the most downloaded version in Europe for management, secure and respecting the privacy of your Green Passes'.

I´m confused. I downloaded the official certificate already 3 days ago. I can´t understand why others seem to have a problem.

The problem I had was it would not accept my ID number and my personal details

Did you choose ID or ARC ?

I chose the number on the Gesy card from my doctor. This is the only identification I gave to the vaccination people.
But it is of course the same number as my ID card or my Yellow slip, give or take a zero or two. But I have tried with and without the zero's

Do I really need this Digital certificate ??? I have a copy of my vaccinations in my wallet..

I tried all the same things this morning and it worked. I have a sort of code square

Jeba, most people have managed to download the official certificate and print it off, send to email etc and the final stage is to upload it onto their mobile phones. Cyprus has not released its own official App for Mobiles (CovApp) yet which is why I posted the link above to the Green Pass App so they can use it in the meantime.

As far as I am aware the only reason for having it as an App on a mobile phone is for travel purposes. Comments from FB indicate the Vaccination Certificate or negative Covid result in paper or SMS form are suitable for the Cyprus SafePass for day to day use in Cyprus.
Early days so no doubt will be clarified in the coming weeks.

CovPass is the German government app. Cyprus doesn't have an official one yet. You can only install CovPass from Play Store if your place of residence is set to Germany.
