My humble take on that, Jimgward, is that the Sun simply plagiarised that headline from the Daily Mail, on account that they only employ people on 'Zero Hours' contracts these days, have no proper editorial staff nor journalists left behind, have simple and concise crosswords that a 10 year old could solve in a minute each!
If the Sun newspaper was popped in my front door for a week freebie offer, it would go straight into the green recycle bin outside our back door, UNREAD! (It's print is too small to be read in any case, without a large magnifying glass!)

ps- maybe I might be tempted to solve both crosswords in under two minutes first, so as not to leave the recyling guys any unanswered clues...
