Sincere thank yous to all the very kind people on this forum who sent me such lovely greetings on my birthday yesterday. I can say I had two lovely days celebrating the event, Sunday and Monday. On Sunday 9 of my special friends and myself had Sunday lunch at Tweedies which was superb in every sense - excellent food and company and on Monday 20 of us gathered at Kamares Club following our Monday bridge session (I played terribly) for a buffet lunch and drinks. Everyone seemed to have a jolly time and I know I most certainly did. To those of you who have wished me many more birthdays one guest informed me Kamares club had booked the venue for at least my 90th birthday and anymore that follow.

To Tremigirl - I hope you are having a good birthday today and send my best wishes.

To Jules - thank you for your concern but as you can see and gather I am still around despite pneumonia and two types of virulent influenza lasting some 6 weeks endeavoring to finish me off - not this time though and hopefully for some time to come.

Once more thank you all so very much for your good wishes I really do appreciate it.

Love to you all

Rita xx

Glad to hear you are okay! It gave me a bit of a turn...
My flu has more or less left me but I still have the odd wheezy spell. Two weeks in Benidorm should fix that.... we're following the sun this weekend 🤣

Wishing you many more future birthdays to come 😁
