90.8MHz FM but I doubt you will get it in Zygi unless you listen on the web!
Shane
Using our portable radio with telescopic antenna cannot get it in the house. We have a 2 Storey building and on the roof
can just get it. No doubt with a proper yagi type outside antenna we could get it OK, but to be honest what I heard this
morning doesn't inspire me to do so.

Sunshine radio this morning is absolute CRAP. Kept putting it on but just rubbish music. Mind you it could just be me not liking there taste at all
Out of curiosity, what other reason would there be?

It's a subjective issue .............. I quite like the new music, most is easy listening & some "hits" hit the spot for me! But everyone has their preferences!

I can see absolutly no reason why you shouldn't be able to....Unless Stoke FC really are that bad...

and the station wants to spare the fans the pain.
LOL - it's premier league copyright rules sadly. I can listen at home on FM, but no other way (other than on the SCFC App on my mobile)

You may find the broadcast is blocked during the game. I know BBC Radio Oxford is and that you can only listen to the football commentary if you're withing the local FM broadcast area. There's an app called iFollow via which you can watch or listen live (for a fee of course), but we're League One so I'm not sure if it's the same for the Premier League.

I have just registered here on the Paphos Life forum and would like to add some comments regarding Sunshine and others.
The 94.4 station is as has been mentioned called My Radio Art. They are a Limassol based station (in fact I can walk to their studio from where I live) although they use several transmitter sites to cover different cities. I'm not sure if they are Cypriot or Russian owned but pretty sure they are not an English owned station. Their playlist I would call 'alternative', you may have other ideas but their playlist is completely different to that of Sunshine so you cannot really compare. We are no doubt targeting different markets and demographics!
Regards re-branding this is nothing more than an option on the table and has not really been discussed as yet, at least while there are still ongoing legal issues surrounding the station and it's former director.
Re adverts, I'm afraid this is how most all commercial stations are funded that is unless you have owners with deep pockets and or other revenue streams to allow you to run without them. It is a business after all and operating expenses are not insignificant.
The only exceptions to the above are BFBS who broadcast from RAF Acrotiri AFAIK and being UK tax payer funded do not carry commercial advertising.
Bob,
I obtained permission a couple of years ago to add a re-broadcast transmitter at Drousha to cover Polis, Latchi and surrounding areas. I am moving this up the list of priority's as soon as things settle down.
Amos,
It's unlikely you'll hear us in Zygi as Mix FM shares the very same frequency (90.8) here in Limassol broadcasting from the Fassoula transmitter point like the majority of the local stations.
Phil,
As we do not have access to the original website or social media platforms we have a new holding page at:
http://www.sunshineradiopaphos.com/
You can click on our stream link from this page also. We are designing a completely new website which will go live as soon as possible this together with new Facebook and Twitter pages. We are aware there is still music being streamed at the former website but there is no link to the FM transmitter. This is now completely under the new managements control, myself and my colleagues.
I am also intending to improve our signal coverage of Paphos & beyond but this all takes time.
Stay tuned.
David

Hi JB,
Well, I am the founder and original licence holder but stepped down as director and took a back seat as I had other business interests however both myself and another shareholder are now joint directors of the company.
Dave Asher is program director and he has a good team working with him.
This together with the best newsreader in Cyprus
Al,
Not quite ashes, but close

Broadcaster. Can you clarify the point you make about the online stream via TuneIn radio. This does not have the same output as your 2018 website and a new and different logo to the 4 circles version on your site.
Is the original sunshine output under your ownership also?
When will your station be available on TuneIn? I am having difficulty with the Web link player on your site.
Good luck with the new station and I look forward to being in Paphos later this year to hear you over the airwaves again. I the meantime I will endeavour to listen on line. Nathan's news report is great.

Hello C92,
The original Sunshine output is not under our ownership or control.
Let me double check the TuneIn link and I'll get back to you as I know one of the studio op's has been doing some work on this and their were issues with the IP address but I'm sure this is now sorted. Have you checked the link today?
Thanks for the kind words and also to you Dominic above.
