I have to add that the Asian community In Glasgow are totally integrated, a model for the rest of the U.K.

Pakistani lad that works in our local petrol station, can often be seen next to me waiting for our pork souvlakia, in our favorite take away, I also had a Jewish work mate that had a Bacon roll everyday for breakfast....im sure theres lots of people from different faiths who dont follow every ruling on food.

I was thinking more about older times. 100 years ago, hunting for food would have been far more commonplace.

You made a good point, im sure hunting still goes on in rural Islamic countrys
