Paphos Life

I think the weather and the temperatures vary quite a lot in winter and when the weather is unsettled. Where I live between Tala and Kili, on average our temps vary about - 3c compared with Kato Paphos or anywhere nearer the coast. So far I haven't had to use the central heating as the weather has generally been warmer than usual for late October and we have had a lot of sunshine during the month,
However, with the current lack of sunshine over several days, it is now feeling cooler inside and out. Tonight I am using my new invertor aircon on heat and am v impressed on how quickly it brings the room up to a comfortable temperature.
But I suspect that tomorrow when the clocks have gone back, I will need to use some CH as it also heats the hot water.
i agree with who ever said that the temps are varying wildly now day to day, morning and evenings. The best way of avoiding colds and chills is to dress in layers, which you can add or remove as required!

CH Dee have not got any and it has never been needed, certainly not needing any form of heating so far this summer, as Lloyd is also living lower down maybe this is why?, some insulation is the key, but to be truthful we still have open doors at night, I am also only in summer gear, shorts, and Tshirts. not a pretty sight I give you, it is barmy wet weather for a day or two, but it is much needed on Cy.

Today is supposed to be 100% chance of heavy rain with thunder and lightening.. We still have some sun here but we will not tempt providence and put the washing out to dry

No weather station just a pool and a rule that I swim till the temperature drops below 70F. This year the pool ( no cover same level of water ) dropped below on October 26th. Last year October 31st ( big storm that night lowered pool v. quickly) 2015 November 6th . Best year was 2007 when I was still swimming till November 15th before the water slipped below the magical 70F. So yes I think this October has been cooler and we certainly noticed we we putting an extra layer to sit outside in the evening earlier than last year.
