Jules it sounds as perfect as such a sad situation could be, pretty sure you did all the right things, and Ruby had her say! I'll bet my bottom dollar that Indie was sitting there on Rainbow Bridge and the reunion will have been heard in Cyprus as well as England! Your time with them will come again, meanwhile comfort yourselves with your pics, vids and memories. They will soon turn the tears to laughter and memories of so many happy times. Meanwhile, knock back the gin, it's an occasion to be savoured for all time.

So sorry to hear about Ruby. Your consolation is that you gave her a happy, loving home for so many years, and she loved you too. It's hard to imagine what sort of life, if any, she would have had if you hadn't found her and taken her in. She was a very lucky Cypriot dog to have your care and affection.
