As you know, I don't post much these days but I was so saddened to hear of Jim's passing.
I first met Jim on Cyprus Property Owners and I followed him to CL. He helped me get our first rental in Coral Bay in 2003 and over the years became firm friends. I was proud of the fact I went through the life of CL without getting banned.
After the demise of CL we kept in touch as he posted some wonderful photographs and always had something interesting to say.
I'm so sorry to hear this sad news and send my condolences to his beloved wife, God bless Jim.

Very sad indeed. Jim was my neighbour for the time he lived in Peyia. Although of opposite political views, we held some interesting, intelligent conversations whilst sipping wine. Gave him and his friend Christmas lunch one year when his wife was away from Cyprus. R.I.P.

Could this thread be moved to 'Absent Friends' Dominic? Would that be appropriate?
