Strange hardly any wind here last night,bit of rain that's all,just shows how different areas are affected,maybe get the gales later?

Usual mess at the harbour front every time there's a storm. Wonder if the Mayor has ever thought about replacing the old low harbour front wall which was removed by his predecessor? A low stone or stone faced wall would be both practical and attractive.
There seem to be plenty of funds provided by the EU...

Where did I claim to know better? I simply reported what Weather Underground were forecasting...and they were still forecasting 25kph until late PM yesterday. Address your vitriole at WU Max, not me

HIC you were right,I looked on several weather sites including the two on this forum and they either said windy or 20 km an hour,none mentioned the storms we had which were nothing compared with some storms we've had over the years,why people on here have to play this game of one upmanship I don't know ,they think they are always right and never wrong,get a life you people!

Possibly because every time HiC posts an article that turns out to be correct he takes full credit for it!
