My wife has just received a notice from the post office in Paphos to go and collect a parcel, and guess what - It comes from Germany and has our 8723 postcode on it.

We're still having problems sending overseas mail with tracked/signed for service from UK but particularly to Greece and Cyprus.
We still have one package heading to Thessaloniki showing it was "sent abroad" by Heathrow Langley HWDC on 18 July.
The recipient has checked with the Greek postal services who confirm it hasn't arrived on Greek soil.
Still waiting to hear from the "investigation" reply from UK mail....
This isn't the first time mail shows as leaving but never arrives and none of the undelivered packages have come back to our Return to Sender address labels which are on every item we send. This in itself is very strange indeed as we rarely lose mail. It will get to the destination or it gets returned to us.
Mail of a lesser value and sent without tracking not handled the same way is getting through!
Something to think about for anyone sending more expensive envelopes or small packages from UK.

I recently ordered an item from China. The package was about 8 x 10 x 16 cm and weighed just under 1 kg. The vendor posted it on the second day after ordering and it was delivered in the post to domicile eight days after ordering. The value of the item, including postage, was stated on the documentation at just under EUR37. It came via the Netherlands.
Cannot complain at that!
