I was reading a piece by Lawrance Fox, on this subject, he was scathing about it, I will watch the film first then decide.

I will watch it on my TV to decide also.
Although mine isn't as big as Jim X and WHL's, I am sure that if it is a good film size will be irrelevant. 😜

Mine is only a 32 incher (TV).
My pockets are not deep enough to have
more than 1 telly. I've got many cats to feed.

From previous comments I was anticipating a similar type of film that would catch and hold my attention but found 1917 to be rather prosaic.

Loved both of the films as many already have. Uncle D size is always irrelevant (I hope) ;)

Finally got to watch it, first 20 minutes, 2 blokes walking through relatively clean and tidy trenches, then another 20 minutes of the same blokes walking through no mans land.
I wouldn't say it was boring, but it is a pleasant film to watch with a nice cup of tea ahhh

Have to agree with Uncle D and a few others who have made similar comments and decided to read my book while the others watched the film.

Waited for HD version on cinema apk. Bloody best film I've seen since grease in 76 really enjoyed it and brought it home about how life was in the trenches. Take care not posted much life has been hard over last few months.

I found the film 1917 excellent in every way, and why it won the lot at the film awards, but as usual some like other types of films and that is a fact would not do for us all to like the same films, I hated the Joker but some loved it, horses for courses I guess..

By the way someone mentioned ''Screeners'' my MAG plays these as was 1917 and have never seen any deterioration on the 720p resolution, always always good.
