Those were the days! The photos of the harbour tie in with what I remember when I visited Paphos in 1968 while staying at Akrotiri. I remember how quiet and undeveloped it was, just the castle, the fishing boats, the customs house and one or 2 very basic harbour side tavernas which grilled fresh fish from that mornings catch for you, accompanied by some village bread and chips (I think). I had a reasonable size red snapper.. It was so peaceful there seemed idyllic. Though the presence of a UN peacekeeper with blue beret, in one of the photos might have been significant.

Cyprus didn't pop up on my radar until the early 90's so I feel like the new kid on the block based on earlier comments

Hard to believe what Kennedy Square looked like especially

Think I will have a mooch through his video library. Should be interesting

I am adding a video section to the main site, and they will all be going in there, along with Devil's film.

I remember Trev doing a weekly blog about 10 years ago on the harbour development on another site. Just wonder if that is still about to post it in full. It was great.

The other forum was CyprusLiving, many members at that time contributed to this original post, Trev was certainly one of them.
