I thought i had finally triumphed today and convinced the wife to install our much cherished electric blanket...So far so good.But not being the most luckiest old codger in the world.....its broke
So for tonight its back to hot water bottles.
Anyone know where what i consider one of mankinds finest inventions, sells,,,electric blankets.

I decided to keep the bedroom temperature above 21c and stopped the use of electric blankets. For me it is comfortable enough like that so far this year as the night temperature is above 10c outdoors. (except 2 nights early this week)

We bought ours from Premier Electric too. It's called Izzy and I think it was about €55. It has three dual settings so you have independent controls.

My OH left his side on max last night and woke up at 3 a.m. feeling very warm indeed! He won't be doing it again......
