Barometer

Post by Devil »

This morning at about 11 o'clock, Cyprus experienced an extremely high barometric pressure peaking at nearly 1017 hPa. Since then, the pressure has dropped somewhat and is currently at 1013.6 hPa, which is still very high. Note that these figures refer to sea level and are valid ± 2 hPa for the whole island. This abnormally high pressure may be the cause of minor breathing difficulties for people with lung problems but it is unusual. You may need to use a ventilator more if you already use one. It should have no effect for most people.
