Changing TV from Sky to Freeview

Post by Firefly »

I have recently bought a new smart TV for my lounge, and (wrongly) assumed that I could put the old (non smart) TV in my bedroom, using the ariel lead that my other dumb TV used.

It seems that because my old TV was tuned to sky, I cannot get it to work with the ariel I used before. I know that the ariel, (which is in my loft) is working, as the TV in one of my spare bedrooms works ok today.

Help please, can anyone tell me how to do it? I have tired all the sources available on the TV, but nothing works. The instruction manual is useless.

Thanks Guys.

Jackie

It's a Bush tv, not sure of the model, I'll have to check. It's about four years old.

You should have a manual that came with the TV
If not you can download it if you use Google..

David

Yes I have the manual, but it didn't help at all.

Lin n Vic

Thanks, managed it in the end, but it took ages to load the Freeview channels, don't know why, but there we are.
