Deodorize Soil

Post by Firefly »

Does anyone know if there is anything I can use, which is safe for pets, that I can 'deodorize' the soil with in my garden please ?

My two cats use the soil border round my garden as a loo, and quite rightly so, even though I remove as much as I can regularly, it does become a bit smelly in hot weather. The only help I have found on the internet suggests baking the soil, or microwaving ! I think not.

Thanks.

Jackie

Have you tried using a cat litter for the cats, that would be easy to empty and deodorize, you could discourage them from using the border with orange peel.

Plant some rosemary, lavender or thyme to make your garden smell nice.
