They will need extremely deep pockets but it will be great for Troodos area the CTO needs to promote this area in a positive manner, it was very popular years ago but sadly has declined............

I saw a home movie on this abandoned hotel (UTube) a scary place, although not a believer in ghost but those that have stayed in it as a bet did not stay long.

We went there several years ago on a fine, sunny summer day. It is in a beautiful location as can be seen from the video and is a very impressive stone building, but it gave me a creepy feeling as soon as I went in. Even though I was there with a group of friends. I didn’t feel like exploring it unless there were others in the vicinity ...
It has great potential, if the buyer has very deep pockets, as it will need everything doing to it to completely renovate and restore it to its former luxury. But, I think that the ghosts that I felt the presence of, need exorcising.

We went in May 2013 and the building was in a very bad state of repair then with the top left corner of the gable end fallen away, exposed to the elements.
Things cannot have improved over the last 7yrs so yes, deep pockets indeed....
Plus, the pool was very small in comparison to the size of the hotel which probably means a total revamp, by which time the whole character of the place will have disappeared.
The exterior of the building is very reminiscent of the TV series Colditz.
