Does anyone know what will happen to the points system now they have been taken over ?

You need to spend your points ASAP. Apparently Sklavenitis aren't carrying them over.

On FB last week someone published an email from Papantoniou head office that points will be honoured until 30 September.

After making an enquiry about the points scheme I have an e mail from the head office, basically they say the take over will be in a few months September / October time and you will be given time after that to redeem them, that is what they said to me.

That sounds very fair and can I say part of their previous excellent service strategy when dealing with all their many customers. I will be sad to see the Papantinou's familiy's exodus.
I hope that the new owners will keep most of the extra services which are currently provided.
Such as the counter staff who help those who aren't clever with paying utility bills on-line by doing this for them,

Some charities eg PAWS are asking people to use their details when shopping at Papantoniou when paying at the till, particularly if people don't shop there often enough to get the 1100 points to change to €10 off the bill.

Not sure if you can now transfer points to someone else once they have been credited to your own loyalty records.

If it isn't possible to transfer your points to PAWS, they also like gifts of dog and cat foods and cat litter....

I went into Paps, Chlorakas yesterday, on my return to Cyp, and the lady on checkout asked for my bonus card or number, so assuming it’s still operational? I didn’t have card with me, as didn’t think valid any more, obviously wrong! Am going again tomorrow, so will take card & find out.

Update! Have been into Paps, Chloraka, today, Paps bonus card still operational, and despite been told last year to spend points saved, my points have carried forward. Happy days!

As soon as I reach the required 1100 points I now exchange them as various cut off dates have been mentioned.
