Paphos Life

The Paphiakos Bookshop and Bric a Brac shop will be closing at 1.00 pm from July 1 until August 31. This is to accommodate volunteer holidays. We will be open as usual from September 1.

The newly opened Bric a Brac half of the shop is doing exceedingly well, so many many thanks to everyone bringing their surplus goods in. We and the animals so appreciate it.

I anticipate even more people than usual will be leaving Cyprus during the July -September period which does make it more demanding for the volunteers.

Even if there are many volunteers it would make sense for all the charity shops to close at 1 pm during the hottest part of the year, when the heat can be unbearable in the afternoons for both staff and customers.
