Lincoln- I would agree with aphrodite. Kestrel. Nice to see so many of them here, though a Cypriot told me that "they catch snakes" which may explain why they appear to escape the hunter's bag.

Yes Aphrodite is correct, it's a Kestrel. They are a common BOP in Cyprus & take quite a wide variety of prey.
