Sandy beach near Lemba.

The boat launch is near Riccos beach, the beach shot is of Sandy Beach near Lemba (that is what they call it) always quiet but swimming is best avoided if you read the large notice board.

This photo from Sandy Beach brings back sad memories I have. In 1977 my uncle (38) drowned there when we had a swim together, late afternoon, and the sea was as quiet as on this pic....

Yes I am well aware of the dangers of swimming there, a big sign warns people but they still go in..

Isn't that way they encourage surfboarding? I've always been perplexed by that, considering the reputation and the signs.
