There are adverts. And then there are...

...exceptional adverts. Saw this on Ch4 last night. 20 seconds in and you realise this is something quite out of the ordinary. Creative on so many levels, brilliant execution, stunning imagery, gets the massage across, edgy music, perfect lyrics and gifted strap line: ""To be a Paralympian, there's got to be something wrong with you."

Apparently, the track is a cover of "So you want to be a boxer" from the Bugsy Malone musical.

Most videos on YouTube get a 90% thumbs up, this is almost 100%.

3 minutes long and clearly "very big budget". Well done to the geniuses who came up with this.

Go Full Screen. Sound up!

Momentous ads like this start out full length; this one's 3 minutes long. Not long after, greatly edited, much shorter, versions are aired; cost obviously. I noticed the first shortened version of this ad on Ch4 last night and while good, does not have the same impact as the the original. This is what often happens to major sponsor ads in the run up to Christmas.
