All church services in the UK were stopped today.
Does anyone know if any services took place (foolishly) in Paphos today?

If you never ask the question, the answer will always be....no
Re: Church services?.
I have just heard that the RC church in Paphos held services on Saturday and Sunday, unsure yet if the Anglicans followed suit.
Unbelievable!!

I understand that all church services of the Anglican Church throughout Cyprus were cancelled as of last week until April 10th. The situation will be reviewed conditional upon the Cyprus government regulations and advice regarding Corona Virus at that time.

I did read that the police stepped in to stop some religious services, with the possibility of a fine to follow!
Re: Church services?.
Does that mean that the orthodox Easter on 18/19 March and the attendant church services will be cancelled this year. Or be reinstated just before our Easter?£d

Sorry a freudian slip, Of course I meant April, don’t know why I didn’t spot my owm mistake,
Austin, thanks for pointing it out. I haven't as yet seen any announcement as to whether the usual holy week services that the Orthodox Church usually holds will be on or off this year.
Our Easter is a week before the Greek one, so decision will need to be reached for both churches as to whether or not to be able to celebrate Easter in all the Christian Churches.
