At least the leader of her party asked her to resign, the reason is Sturgeon nor any other party leader can sack another MP, however Cummings is not an MP and could have been sacked, but was not even after other senior advisors had resigned.
The trouble is the precedent has been set and they can now seemingly do as they please

Ferrier should resign and be fined, no doubt. Cummings should have bee treated the same. Two wrongs, no rights!
