You raise a good point Hudswell. There are some nature signs along that stretch, but from memory they concentrate on the flora rather than the fauna.

It's not confined to Cyprus, I remember walking around Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve in the UK & coming across an irate dog walker being berated by a warden for not having his dog on a lead ........... despite plenty of signs around pointing out that dogs must be kept on a lead!
