Looks like something else for me to try, thanks Lloyd. 👍

By the way, what's it like cold? As in,eaten as leftovers? Or have you not yet had any leftover?

This looks reall yummy! Though I don't think I'd be able to resist the temptation of transforming it into a kind of Quiche Lorraine dish...

Shortcrust pastry base, diced bacon and tomatoes in the cheese filling. Perhaps even finely sliced red or green chillies on top...

AL :)

Would/do you know if this would freeze well Lloyd?
It seems a large amount for 1 or 2 people but does look/seem luscious?

It is yummy! Thank you so much for another tasty (and especially easy!) recipe, Lloyd.

However, my dish was not shallow enough, so the pie needed longer in the oven.
And the appearance of each slice was more akin to sponge cake with small pieces of cheese!

Leftovers, if any, are good zapped in the microwave.

Will add this to my collection of tried and tested recipes worth repeating. 😀

Thanks Hic, just latched on to this thread! Always looking to add "dishes" to my BBQ selection when relatives are over and this looks like a great addition! :)

The thing that you are missing is the fact that Lloyd left the group a while ago and asked admin to remove ALL his posts. This of course means that the recipes that are mentioned above are no longer on the group

I know that Lloyd has left the group and that he asked for his posts to be removed - just didn’t think it would include a recipe!
