Panacalty

Post by Paul »

1 tin of corned beef.
Cut the corned beef into pieces

6oz of bacon cut about 1 inch pieces

1 Medium Onion chopped up.

One pound of potatoes washed, peeled and sliced like crisps.

Place all of the food into a slow cooker with no water and cook for about 1 ½ hours.

After that time drain any liquid from the cooker.

Mix about a pint of gravy ( Bisto) and add to the slow cooker and cook for 1 hour.

Brown sauce optional to taste on your plate!

You can use sausages instead of corned beef , use 6 and cut to around ¼ of there size and place them in the slow cooked and cook the same way.

You can also add carrots if you wish.

Enjoy this old North East dish.
