Hi Trev
I only came back late last night from uk, my friend runs the car for me when I’m not here and it happened with him, the garage thinks it maybe an acid base and looks malicious!
Haven’t the faintest how it happened and neither does my friend.
I just get on with it, these things happen!

Very true about 'These things happen' Best not to worry about what you can't change, and as you say just get on with it.

Sorry to hear that , I recently drove over a road that had just been resurfaced and to my horror had alot of tar on the sides of the car, the way I got it off was petrol and using a lot of cotton cloths, after I washed the car about three times using fairy liquid and a lot of water . you mustn't leave any trace of petrol on the body work.
