We applied in February 2016 and received cheques last month. The original application was completed by our solicitor and I asked them for an update in the summer which prompted a call from the tax office for an extra document that we provided. After another couple of months we got our accountant involved, who by the nature of his bus has regular dealings with the tax office and that seems to speed things up further.

because when we bought we did not have title deeds. When we got the deeds we were charged developers rates on the property.@9%. So we had to apply for a refund as residential owner. Still waiting!
