never heard Cypriots pronounce weefee, but Cypriots pronounce Ikea ....... E kea, Ekea is Greek for home/house

I'm beginning to think this forum needs a Pedants' Corner. :lol:

I've always pronounced it "LIDDLE" as in "LITTLE", for what its worth, and avoid thursdays if I can.

How is the hospital " IASIS " pronounced?

Is it EYE ASIS or E ASIS ?
