If you are watching "traditional" TV then you are accessing a programmed system, you know what is coming up next or when it is being shown using your EPG, the catch up facility obviously allows you to view programming you have missed or coincides with another programme. On Demand, you are accessing a library, where you can select what and when you want to view, and are not subject to programming, some may say this is the future of mainstream TV.
Thank you Hudswell.

I have two Mags 250/254 with different providers, one also has a recording facility on to a USB device I use on occasions for newish films, both systems have 7 day catch up TV, and we watch mostly catch up TV or live sports in my case.

Utube is good for information on how Mags work and how to set up and use them.

SPAM i am also a subscriber with sos computers you state that you can match sis like for like for half the amount on proof of payment to sos but as most people that subscribe to sos pay cash at the shop and receive no receipt tnis is difficult. I have looked at your website www.spam and found the english channel line up quite good with 14day catch up there is nowhere on the site that says about prices.

Yes, it's very nice to have simple TV at our fingertips once again - now we're back in UK.

In Cyprus, we just had the XBMC TV box for the last few years with no subscription involved (before that BBC Prime, some Arab sat system too for a while but we sacked it because they kept putting the subscription up on the Arab sat) were all easy enough for us but then, we're not into sport and have never had the need for Sky channels. We only watch TV for a few hours in the evenings....

About to sit down in a little while and catch up on the TV we missed whilst we were away in Malta last week.
