I have one of these in the UK

Will it work in CY?

I use Holitec for internet.

Yes they will work , but you need a VPN or DNS . As you can not install one into the box and cyta routers are virtually impossible to install on . You will need a second router , which is what I do . Very happy with it .

I do not know about holitech .

I use a Linksys WRT54G router . As you are with holitech you might not need one .

I found this on the holitec site , you might want to contact them and ask if the Nowtv box will work on their system .


You cannot directly watch UK services via BBC i-player as our IP address is listed as outside the UK. Streaming video services will need to be buffered, because of the nature of wireless connections, as there is the occasional time-out in the signal. Normally, this does not effect any services, as the TCP/IP protocol is designed to overcome this. We do currently offer a free VPN service, but this is not guaranteed to work with every channel or be available at all times.
