Are you sure that it can be updated?

On my Android phone, it's in settings and then 'about phone'

Maybe have a dig about in there or google how to do it but ensure you enter the make and model of your tablet

I agree with JB.. Google it as to whether you can update your particular model, and how to do it..

Perhaps worth taking it to a phone shop such as Gadget House just up from Citizens Service Centre to see it it can be upgraded.
