Facebook

Has anyone else found that their Facebook page has altered today ?

Mine seems to be a completely new one, all my old posts gone, and only one post from a friend two hours ago. Even the format has changed.

Thanks for any info.

I know FB are upgrading and are saying something about their new browser coming soon, so i am guessing it is that.

I wasn't aware of that, so yes you are probably right.

Thank you.

Trev, exactly... the message was for the OP. I was upgraded to the new version of Facebook which I did not like, but I was able to revert to the old one through the settings tab...

They've been testing and rolling out a new look for a couple of months now that I know of so probably longer.... Mine hasn't changed but I use Fluff Buster which stops a lot of Facebook fiddling.
The new look indication is the disappearance of the instantly recognisable blue bar at the top of your FB page.
And yes, it can be reverted back to the original version - but how long that will continue depends if they decide if they're making it a permanent change or not.
My other half had to create a new account in the early part of this year and his changed 2 or 3 weeks ago but switched it back.
Made me wonder if they're changing newer accounts as those people may be more receptive to the change...

Thank you for the info.

I have tried to access my settings, but it seems the page is 'frozen', I am unable to access messenger too.

My facebook page must have been hacked by some funny joker who even changed my first name and posted random stuff. Not really evil stuff but definietyl not posted by me. As I hardly ever use facebook I haven´t bothered to do anything about it.

I feel very uneasy about the whole thing.

I ran my antivirus and C Cleaner but my Facebook page is still the same, however, when I went to access my bank account, the message that came up was " we haven't seen you use this browser before ".

So the question is, has Facebook put their browser onto my laptop without my knowledge ? Quite frankly I haven't a clue what's going on.

If you do anything at all - just be sure to turn your offline Facebook activity off!
