Attempted Break In!

Post by Iris 2 »

Hi Everyone

We have friends staying at our place in Kissonerga - some scallywag's tried to force the kitchen window...unsuccessfully! A little damage to the window frame but at least they didn't get in.

I must say the police responded very quickly and popped round which was reassuring. Anyone else had any issues in the village?

We have talked about it before but I think now may be the time to get an alarm fitted - as as deterrent as much as anything. Any recommendations for companies that could assist?

Cheers

Nine years ago we used Dimitris Tsiakolis to install an alarm on our shop. It was a fairly basic system, with movement sensors inside and a very loud alarm if triggered, connected to our basic non-smart mobile so we could listen to what was happening in the shop once the alarm had rung.

I am sure there are more advanced systems now so you can actually see (and record) what is happening, using your smart phone.

Dimitris was very good with after sales stuff too.
