But I was only answering Earlsfield's comment where he referred to a 'long' exposure.......nothing more than that.

But 10 seconds is a long exposure. Not the longest one, but if you drew a line and placed long exposures on one side of it and short exposures on the other, then 10 seconds would definitely fall on the long exposure side.
