Man drowns in Polis Chrysochous

A 73-year-old man lost consciousness while swimming at a beach in the Polis Chrysochous area on Sunday.It was around 17.30 when he was spotted by other swimmers who brought him to shore and called for an ambulance.He was taken to Paphos Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead....

Another news report in a different paper tells a different story. He died in Polis hospital later in the evening...
