Not sure if there is a more appropriate section but it was posted on our forum that Geoffrey (Geoff/Geoffreys)
- a member of all the forums at one time or another over the years - had passed away earlier this week.

He certainly was a character that many knew across Cyprus.

I believe he leaves behind a wife & daughter and my condolences to them.

RIP Geoff

Never afraid to express his opinion, even if he was apparently the only one with that opinion. He enlivened many a discussion on the various Cyprus forums.
Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Yes, he was a funny old cove. You could have a nice chat with him some times and other times he would be spoiling for a fight.

Sorry to hear of his demise. I hope St Peter knows what's in store for him. :)

RIP Geoff. Although he was controversial in some of his views he also contributed useful tips for living in Cyprus. I still use a Now tv stick because of him, for watching Sky entertainment channels and Sky Sport whilst in Cyprus, which we can now do legally, but only for a month, without a vpn.

He must hold the record for the number of forums that banned him. However, many of his posts were informative.

How sad to hear this. He and I were friends and enemies combined. We often sent PM's to discuss matters. He will be missed by a few on the forums. R.I.P. Geoff.

Thanks for letting all know of his passing Steve, and condolences to his family of course.

He was a controversial chap with some very strange postings, I believe most forums removed him including PL. But death is above all of these trivial things, I certainly had some ups and downs with him on CL..Will never forget his why are not shops open on Sundays, I wish to go to the beach, always made me smile or wince.. Rest in peace Geoff.

I never agreed with his posts but respected his right to make them. And I chuckled at his belief of their verification.
I'm sure he'll be sorting St Peter out and re positioning those gates.
His posts were very entertaining despite most people including myself in disagreement with them.
The forums of Cyprus will be at a loss without his contributions.

RIP Geoffreys.

Indeed, but I liked his posts, maybe a different opinion, but that's what make a forum.

Sorry for his loss.
